ST. NANCY PELOSI
Last Saturday afternoon, in Washington, DC, an aide to the former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic cathedral in D.C. He told the Cardinal that Nancy Pelosi would be attending the next day's Mass, and he asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Pelosi to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Pelosi a saint.
I was graduated from Yale University in 1963 with a B.A. in economics and from the University of Virginia School of law, where I was the notes editor of the Virginia Law Review, in 1966. Following four years of active duty with the Army JAG Corps, with two tours in Korea, I entered private practice in Washington, D.C. specializing in communications law. I retired in 1996 to sail with my wife, Jeanie, on our sailboat Namaste to and in the Caribbean. In 2002, we settled in the Republic of Panama and live in a very rural area up in the mountains.
I now contribute to China Daily Mail and Opinion Forum. I have contributed to Pajamas Media and Pajamas Tatler.
Of course it’s not true, it’s just a lame joke, but someone might take it seriously and go away thinking it really happened.
Dear me! There may be someone stupid enough to think it really happened. Perhaps our delightful Vice President Biden? Igor or Bliffle at BlogCritics? Who knows? Who cares?
