U.S. Troops Are Being Murdered In Afghanistan: Pentagon's Answer ... Muslim Sensitivity Training

Reblogged from Cry and Howl:

In the last three years, our allies the Afghans have murdered 97 U.S. and NATO troops. Thirty three this year.  So this has been an ongoing problem and the Obama administration has finally arrived at the most common sense and balanced approach to protect the troops that have to mingle with the Afghans. The Pentagon, you know the greatest military minds on the planet, have instructed the U.S.

It is gratifying that the Obama Administration has brought to our military strategy the same wise, common sense approach it has so successfully applied in dealing with our economic and foreign policy problems. In view of President Obama's well known and highly respected experience in all fields – a world renowned specialist in all specialties – it would be a disgraceful to replace him with someone competent else now.

It’s horrible. And it’s a refutation of the theory Cheney and Bush sold the American people about training the Afghans so that US troops could step down as Afghans stood up in Afghanistan.

And it serves as a rebuke to all the war enthusiasts who loudly backed Cheney and Bush as they perpetrated that fraud. I would imagine that the Bush-Cheney supporters are properly humbled by the disastrous results of their naive theories.

I don’t suppose that would include anyone here assembled.

    • I had understood that the vile Cheney Bush was tossed out of the White House like a dessicated Christmas tree more than three years ago. Are they really still in charge there? If so, they should be ashamed of themselves for issuing such stupid instructions!

On the other hand, although President Obama needs to blame his predecessor for everything imaginable and unimaginable, provided it can be construed as bad, he should tell him to stop giving the troops stupid instructions and to mind his own business.

President Obama has demonstrated clearly that he is fully capable of giving our troops and others stupid instructions and that he has no need to rely on former President Bush or anyone else to assist him in doing so. Perhaps if he throws the Cheney Bush out of the White House the Obama-Ryan ticket will have a better chance of winning this year. /s
