With all due respect, President Obama has to convince many beyond PM Netanyahu that he can be trusted vis a vis Iran. He needs to convince many others in Israel; should he fail, PM Netanyahu may cease quickly to be the PM. Might that be President Obama’s hope?
President Obama also has to convince the powers that be in Iran. Of no less importance, he also has to convince many Americans. We will eventually see whether he succeeds. I doubt that he will.

It’s not Obamas job to assure the security of Netanyahus job. That’s up to Netanyahu himself. Obamas job is to assure the security of the USA and it’s citizens. Israel is important to the extent that Israel is useful to that end. The personal fortunes of Netanyahu are not at all important.
Some folks might like to read what Hans Blix has to say about Iran vs. Iraq, since he was right about Iraq, unlike the lying lackies of the GW Bush administration. Don’t make the same mistake again.
